Strawberry Fluff

This strawberry fluff recipe is as easy as it gets when you’re making low-calorie, high-protein dessert.
You mix aeroplane jelly with a low-fat greek yoghurt and let that baby set.
You’re left with this awesome, strawberry cloud dessert for under 100 calories and 15g protein. It’s perfect if we’re a little the same, that some nights you just need something sweet at the end of the day.

My love for jelly runs deep. I make my Orange Juice & Kombucha Gummies for my whole crew every week, and honestly I think my next run at this recipe will be using a fruit juice in place of this packet one.

Here’s how you make a batch:

In a bowl, pop your jelly crystals.

Then, pour in the boiling water and top with the Greek yoghurt. You can of course switch out the yoghurt for cottage cheese.

Now is the fun bit, whisk it up good! You could 100% do this in a blender, but I like the ease of doing it by hand.

Then pour the fluff into jars and let set in the fridge for a good hour or two.

But if you only have a large container, that works well too!

The texture is next level! You’ll love it.

I made this recipe as a part of my 1-hour Meal Prep of High-Protein & Low-Calorie Recipes For a Busy Mum cook-up. Watch that here:

  • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
  • Yield: 5 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 SATCHEL STRAWBERRY AEROPLANE JELLY

1 CUP BOILING WATER

1 CUP LOW-FAT GREEK YOGHURT

Instructions

Melt the jelly crystals in the boiling water.

Then, whisk in your yogurt. I have not had a problem with it curdling the yoghurt, but if you are worried, set it aside for 5 minutes before doing that.

Now I am sure you could ‘whip’ this yoghurt in a blender so that it is super light and fluffy, and by all means. But a 1-min hand-held whisk did it for me.

I divided this into 5 portions and popped it in the fridge to chill for an hour before gobbling it up with strawberries on top.
